Happy Half-Birthday to Geneva & Asher!

So yesterday marks the one year anniversary of finding out we were having twins.  I still remember sitting in the doctor's office and the feeling of shock when she said there were two heartbeats....that feeling lasted for over a week, and now, as they turn 6 months old, I no longer feel shock but instead bliss.  I feel so blessed by my three kids and can't imagine life without them!

Geneva -- 15 lbs. 1 oz. (40th percentile), 26.25" (75th)

We spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Schwallier's Country Basket yesterday. Autumn....what a wonderful season!

Texas Road Trip

Well, we survived!  Our first road trip (other than to Canada) with the three kids and they all did great!  We were able to visit for a whole week with our friends the Alderinks who recently moved to Ft. Worth.  Our vacation started with a couple days at their family's lake house and then the rest of our time together was spent in Ft. Worth checking out the museum, playing, cooling down at the spray park, a small amount of adult time, and pacifying the kids from time to time with computers and iPhones.  We concluded our trip home with a stay in St. Louis and a quick stop at the St. Louis Zoo.  What a wonderful adventure!
