November 2011

So, I know this post says "November 2011" when it's actually January 2012, but I thought I would do some quick catching up before moving forward with the new year.  As you can tell, the holidays passed us by in a blur this year, and we have been busy trying to get everything back on track, New Year's resolutions included!

We didn't do a whole lot to blog about in November, but we did have a lovely Thanksgiving weekend and early Christmas celebration with Dan's mom/Oma and Jan/Opa.  We made sure to get our tree the day after Thanksgiving this year since we would be leaving well before Christmas Day for California.  We all had fun going to cut it down from the tree farm, and Sydney especially loved decorating it with me again this year.  By the next week though, all of the ornaments were hovered around the top half of the tree since the twins would remove the lower ornaments and Sydney would replace them at her arm's highest reach.  I should have taken a photo of what the tree really ended up looking like instead of on the first day!
