Oh, June, we are so glad you are behind us. Mostly because that means we are moving forward and that we get to see our missing dad/husband in July. Not that we didn't have any fun in June...because we did...but June also included THIS:
It was a busy month, really. Busy with so many different things -- packing, moving out, waiting, cleaning up, waiting, and relying on our friends and family for all the basics especially extra friendship and support. And then some more waiting. In many ways it has felt long yet also short. I have felt weary but also strong. We said goodbye to our Woodcliff house but still have not said our goodbyes to Michigan as our summer "journey" is far from over. I finally signed the closing paperwork on Friday though and we arrived safely in Canada later that same day. It is good to be here.
Here's what our month looked like...
Playing outside, trying to beat the heat by embracing it:
Celebrating these 3 little ladies' (Sydney, Olivia, Evelyn) and Emerson's birthdays with a fun rainbow-themed party:
Spending a fun (yet chaotic!) few days at friends' Lisa and Steve's house...6 kids get busy, phew!
Moving on to Jon and Renee's house and celebrating our absent dad on Father's Day with an uncooperative photo:
Still in GR (had planned to be leaving!) and celebrating the actual 4th birthday of this sweetheart
and this little 1 yr old cousin too!
Thanks to family and friends for spending your morning playing outside and eating birthday blueberry muffins (with sprinkles, of course) with us!
We even got to catch a birthday movie with Uncle Jon and cousin Evelyn:
And we topped off our last 90-degree day with a trip to the pool:
THANK YOU to all of you (you know who you are!) who supported us in so many different ways during this month.
We welcome you, July! And HAPPY CANADA DAY!
